Common Street offers a variety of child and youth programming. Our approach is to have fun and be part of our vibrant community while exploring a values-based curriculum.

All families are welcome!

We are a multi-age group, inviting children and youth from toddlers to teens. Parents are welcome to participate in programming by volunteering to lead an activity, offering creative ideas.

Newcomers are asked to fill out a new family form.

Community Brunch

1st Sundays of the month | 10:30-12:30

Join us for our community brunch, held outdoors. We come together to enjoy each other’s company, share a meal, and explore a theme, like Harvest or Belonging. Children are welcome to participate in the brunch with their families and friends. A special activity designed for them is offered during the adult discussion, at approximately 11:15, lasting for about a half hour. After that, children are invited rejoin the multi-aged group.

Family & Community Hikes

One Sunday per month | 2:00-4:00

Walk with us! Each month we pick an awesome location to gather, walk, talk, and let the children hang out together. Locations will be posted on the calendar each month, so stay tuned!

Children’s Circle

3rd and 5th Sundays of the month | 10:30-11:45

This event parallels our adult in-person Sunday Circles, occurring at the same time. Our multi-aged group will meet outside in the fenced in garden on the right side of the building, weather permitting. Our values-based curriculum is designed to reach children of all ages, toddler – middle school. The sessions are planned around themes encouraging heart-felt sharing and discussion, with stories, meditations, art & crafts, service activities, games, holiday celebrations, and snack.

We’re excited to go back to in-person programming, covid and weather permitting, and our Children’s Circles during the live Sunday Circle programs on 3rd and 5th Sundays at 10:30am.

Please drop your child off at the entrance to the fenced in garden on the right side of the building, at 10:30 and pick them up immediately after the service, before social time.

ALL ARE WELCOME
