All are welcome. No experience necessary. From the tradition of the great love poet Rumi, these classes provide instruction in the whirling practice which polishes the heart, clears the mind, and trains the body to participate in wordless prayer.

The format of the classes will usually include warm-up exercises, then turning instruction, Zikr, and/or other aspects of Mevlevi Sufi tradition such as teachings from Rumi.

First class by donation. There is a fee for ongoing classes, however, a tight budget should not prevent participation.
