Sensing Tango — A Beginner’s Course
Argentine tango is one of the most intimate social dances in the world — and one of the most misunderstood. Most people learn it as a set of steps. This course teaches it as a conversation.
Over six classes, we’ll build the foundational skills of tango from the inside out: how to stand, embrace, and move with a partner — not through drilling technique, but through guided exercises in body awareness, breath, and attentive listening. You’ll learn to feel what your partner is communicating, and to express yourself clearly and kindly in return.
You’ll leave with enough grounding to enjoy a social tango event — and a set of inner tools that will deepen every dance you take on from here.
No experience necessary. No partner required.
Time: Thursdays, Apr 2 – May 7, 7.15pm (6 classes)
Location: Common Street Spiritual Center, Moon Room. 13 Common St Natick, MA 01760
$20 per class · $100 for the series · NOTAFLOF · Drop-ins welcome, and like tango itself, the material rewards revisiting.

He is supervised by Dmitry Antonyuk of St. Petersburg, Russia — a Studio Dinzel alumnus with 14 years of tango teaching experience.
