Planting Seeds: A Meditative Journey Circle

April 14 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Every season has a reason, as they say, and winter has officially come to a close.
How did this winter serve you?
What ways did you nurture yourself?

Now that spring is here,
What seeds do you want to plant?
What would you like to see blossom in your life?
Join us for a relaxing evening of guided meditation, sound healing, and intention setting for this new season of growth.
If you would like to lay down for this journey, please bring yoga mats, pillows, and blankets to make yourself comfortable. You may also want to bring a journal or sketch book with you, as there will be time for reflection.
Please arrive before 7:00pm so that all participants can be present for the opening circle.
You can pre-register by sending a $25 donation before April 14th. $30 donation for walk-ins on the day of event.

*Meet Your Facilitators*
Amber has always had a deep connection to the natural world. As a child, her Mi’kmaq mother spoke proudly of their culture, and Amber learned to take pride in their Indigenous roots too. Buddhist philosophy and practice were first introduced to Amber in 2015 in a U.S History class, and that was the beginning of a long and beautiful journey. Amber went on to study Holistic Psychology and Wellness at Lesley University, that was where she discovered her passion for the healing arts. She has recently returned to Lesley University to attain her master’s degree in Expressive Arts Therapy. As a graduate student, Amber’s studies have taken a particular focus on utilizing mindfulness and the expressive arts to heal trauma.

Dave Curry is the creator of Drums For One & All, the umbrella for all his activities as a hand drumming facilitator, teacher, performer, and repairman. In addition to his work with drumming, he is also an active musician who frequently performs with the Electric Nomads ensemble, but also as a “one man band” when playing meditative music for yoga classes and sound bath meditations.

Jason A. Karol is a Massachusetts-based musician and idea generator who loves creating in a myriad of ways. An artistic and spiritual seeker with an open mind about beliefs and cultures, Jason has a broad range of interest and proficiencies, and is excited to continue developing new skills with his love of learning. In addition to various music-centered projects (including Electric Nomads with Dave Curry), some of Jason’s interests include: hiking/biking/kayaking, animal companionship (particularly cats), woodworking/making, and spiritual community building.
