New Year’s Eve Celebration

Drums For One & All hosts an annual New Year’s Eve celebration, and this is the first year it will happen at Common Street. Although the gathering is aimed at the drum circle community, members of the CSSC community are also welcome to attend. The evening’s schedule is as follows (roughly):
7:00 to 8:30pm — Potluck social meal
8:30 to 9:30pm — Entertainment
9:30 to 11:50pm — Drum circle
Midnight — toast to old year/new year
12:00 to 12:30am — intention setting ceremony, cleanup
For the potluck, we ask that people bring wholesome entrees that include soups/stews/chili, casseroles (rice-based, pasta based, veggie-based, etc), salads (veggie, fruit, potato, coleslaw, etc), or even pizza. Entrees can be meat-based or vegetarian (please include a label of basic ingredients). We want to avoid having 20 bowls of chips and salsa or 20 plates of brownies. Beverages will be provided (non-alcoholic) along with finger-food, and desserts. Cups, plates, bowls, napkins and utensils will be provided.
Entertainment will come from singer/songwriter Sarah Huber, dancer Karenina Rocha-Lee, and musician Greg Lee.
People can bring their own drums, but there will be extra drums available for borrowing.
The midnight toast will be with non-alcoholic sparkling cider.
Payment can be by cash/venmo/paypal
$10 per person, kids 12 and under are free
People may arrive or depart any time between 7pm and 12:30am.
