Compassionate Touch for Deep Connection

Connect intimately w/ yourself and others through compassionate and mindful touch. Redefine your relationship w/ touch in your daily life.
Join us for a transformative workshop where you’ll learn to harness the power of compassionate touch to deepen your connections with yourself and others. This event is designed to provide you with practical tools and techniques to open your senses, connect intimately with others, and refine the quality of your touch. Whether you’re interacting with strangers or loved ones, you’ll leave with new skills to integrate compassionate touch into your daily life, enhancing your relationships and personal well-being.
*What to Expect:*
Introduction and Consent: Begin with an overview of the workshop, setting agreements and understanding the importance of consent.
Icebreaker Activities: Engage in exercises to create a comfortable and trusting environment.
Techniques for Sensory Awareness: Experience activities to heighten your sensory perception, including the use of aromas, fresh fruit, chocolate, feathers, and small instruments.
Group and Partner Exercises: Participate in group massages, dance exercises, and partner activities to explore and refine your touch.
Mindfulness and Self-Massage: Learn self-touch techniques to cultivate self-love and healing.
Light and Deep Touch Practices: Experiment with both light and deeper touch, guided by licensed massage therapists.
Closing Circle: Share reflections and plan how to integrate these practices into your everyday life.
*Facilitators:*
Our workshop is led by a team of experienced professionals:
Hsiu Chang: Hsiu has been a massage therapist since 2019, he enjoys helping people relieve pain. He was first exposed ot it when he started swing dancing in 2003.
Alice Belle: Licensed Massage Therapist
Becca Phillips: Becca is a practicing Licensed Massage Therapist and RYT, trained in Kaula Tantra Yoga and Tantra, with extensive experience in facilitating massage exchanges for non-bodyworkers, authentic relating, and open-hearted connecting.
Tim Lewandowski: Tim began his journey of self-discovery and embodiment after he tore his Achilles and was forced into a deeper conversation with his body. He has given and taken a variety of embodiment trainings, and stresses the values of creating a container for exploration.

Who Can Attend: This workshop is open to all genders and individuals aged 18 and above.
Pairing: Participants will be paired with strangers to give and receive touch, fostering new connections and experiences.
*Important Note: This is a no-nudity, non-sexual event. Please be mindful of this before signing up.
*Contribution:*
Cost: This event is free, but we suggest a donation of $20. Your presence and feedback are highly valued, and we welcome everyone regardless of their ability to donate.
