Why go to the movie theater when you can gathering with friends and spiritual family to watch a movie on the big screen at the Common Street Spiritual Center? ???

We will gather at 6:00pm to socialize and settle in. Movie will start at 6:30. If you’d like, bring snacks, non-alcoholic beverages, and other goodies for a pot luck style snack bar… but most importantly, bring your selves! There will be cushions, mats, and blankets available for borrowing, but feel free to bring cozy chairs, pillows, yoga mats… anything you want to bring to settle in and relax much more luxuriously than you could in a theater (even though modern movie theater seats are getting pretty dang good)!

There will be a poll in the discussion in the Facebook Event Page (link included in this post) with a few movie options to choose from. Whatever gets the most votes, that’s what we’ll see! Let the people decide! All options will be PG-13 or lower rating. No R movies for this one… kids welcomed. Perhaps in the future we will have a separate movie nights for kid-friendly and non-kid-friendly, but for this first one of 2025, all ages are welcomed. Of course, use your own discretion to decide if the movie that is selected is right for you and/or any kids you wish to bring.

This is a free event and open to the whole community. There will be an option to give a donation that will go directly to the center and the folks running this event so that they can invest into future ones too!
