Circling

• Want to know yourself more deeply
• Want to experience and get to know others
• Want to free yourself of unconscious wirings that may not serve you anymore
• Want to practice awareness, mindfulness, connection, and love
• And / or want to experience a state of Being.
The practice of circling involves participants sitting in a circle and engaging in a shared experience that fosters connection, reflection, and mindfulness.
We sit with quiet attention, until someone chooses to share with the group what they are experiencing, sensing, observing, or imagining.
Over time, as such sharing occurs, a shift can happen so that you experience a different sense of Self, or even an experience of Being (which some may call God).
This is in contrast to day-to-day life, in which one often experiences lots of Doing!
Doing is necessary; and taking time to experience Being may be helpful to all aspects of one’s life.
Dinner table conversations can be nice, but they tend to be people’s personalities doing their personality thing; in the practice of circling, the personality is put into the background, and Being and Connecting come into the foreground.
