SUMMARY:Circling
DESCRIPTION:Join us to experience The Practice of Circling if you\n• Want to know yourself more deeply\n• Want to experience and get to know others\n• Want to free yourself of unconscious wirings that may not serve you anymore\n• Want to practice awareness\, mindfulness\, connection\, and love\n• And / or want to experience a state of Being. \nThe practice of circling involves participants sitting in a circle and engaging in a shared experience that fosters connection\, reflection\, and mindfulness. \nWe sit with quiet attention\, until someone chooses to share with the group what they are experiencing\, sensing\, observing\, or imagining. \nOver time\, as such sharing occurs\, a shift can happen so that you experience a different sense of Self\, or even an experience of Being (which some may call God).\nThis is in contrast to day-to-day life\, in which one often experiences lots of Doing! \nDoing is necessary; and taking time to experience Being may be helpful to all aspects of one’s life. \nDinner table conversations can be nice\, but they tend to be people’s personalities doing their personality thing; in the practice of circling\, the personality is put into the background\, and Being and Connecting come into the foreground. \n–Intended for experienced circlers as well as anyone new to the practice. \n–Paul Gerzon\, Facilitator\n$: no charge for first time\nYou must be there by 3:00 p.m.\, on time; you may leave early if you need to.

SUMMARY:DANCEKINETICS with Molly Delehey
DESCRIPTION:Want to feel more alive\, connected\, and embodied? \nCome move\, groove\, and awaken your innate sense of freedom and self-expression by attending Common Street Spiritual Center’s first dancekinetics class! \nLed by Molly Delehey\, whose version of dancekinetics is called “Shake Your Soul\,” this is a guided movement experience suitable for all abilities and all ages and set to a wide variety of music. \nChances are good you will leave invigorated and feeling more connected to your own body and soul\, as well as to your fellow participants\, by way of individual movement\, group activities and games\, and the music. \nMolly says\, “What I offer is a movement and music experience designed to relax your nervous system as it energizes your body. The class is fun and non-judgmental. You simply cannot do it wrong.” \nMolly’s website: https://www.mollydelehey.com/shake-your-soul \nI have been enjoying and benefiting from Molly‘s classes every Friday morning in Arlington and decided to bring it to our community here in Natick. I like the spirit of love and acceptance Molly exudes\, and I enjoy the guided movement\, the music\, and the “people medicine” of doing it with others. \nThis may become a monthly event\, and today’s first class is a gift from Common Street. No money is involved. \nHosted by Paul Gerzon \nQuestions? You can call me\, 781-507-1115 \n“Molly is that special kind of soul who literally sparkles! Molly’s positive spirit is contagious – and dancing with her feels like unwrapping a gorgeous\, magical\, healing birthday gift. I would love to do it again and again.”\n— Nina E. – chiropractor \n“Shake Your Soul moves your body and mind in a way that carries beyond the class. Each time I leave a session with Molly\, I find a piece of myself that I didn’t even know was lost. It truly sets your soul free.”\n— Abby M. – college student

SUMMARY:How We Healed / How We Heal
DESCRIPTION:How We Healed / How We Heal\, A Gathering Facilitated by Paul W. Gerzon \nLife can be wonderful. Our human capacity for love\, enjoyment\, and wisdom is endless; and the love a person can feel for other human beings\, for nature\, and for life itself\, is beautiful. Experiencing all this is less likely to happen\, however\, if we have not healed emotional wounds; if we have not learned that “the mind is a great servant but a terrible master”; and if we don’t know how to love ourselves\, including our bodies. \nToday’s gathering is about being more whole. \nIn part one\, we will talk about what healing is: what do we mean by that word? Then those who are moved to will have the time and space to share about what healing they have experienced\, and by what methods\, circumstances\, and / or experiences. \nIn part two\, we will generate a list of what seems to be necessary for healing. We will do that as a collective mind by noticing our own experiences\, from our in-the-moment thinking\, and from what we’ve learned from videos\, from books\, from peers\, and / or from professionals who have been helpful. \nPlease come if you wish to explore this subject! \nSuch gatherings can accelerate our individual learning and growing\, as well as provide “people medicine” for everyone present. \n  \nPersonal note: \nI am grateful for the healing I have experienced. In my case\, growing up\, my head energy was loved and supported. My thoughts were welcome. In contrast\, my heart energy was not supported\, and emotions of any were not welcomed and certainly were not mirrored. No one in my family or at school taught me any emotional awareness. \nMy life is enormously different now that much childhood wounding is healed. An important shift for me was when I could see my parents as glasses half full\, instead of half empty. Through certain healing contexts and experiences\, I came to see them as being perfect (if you’ll excuse that overworked word) exactly as they were! \nI stopped judging them. That led to stopping judging myself\, and that led to not judging anybody. I live a lighter and happier life now. \n(By the way\, not judging anybody does not mean “making no distinctions” or “not seeing differences”!) \n
