SUMMARY:The Art of Meaning - Finding Hidden Value in the Story of Your Life
DESCRIPTION:After 33 years of exploring the world of personal growth\, I can confidently say that there is one skill I’ve acquired that has served me more than anything else.\nIt’s the skill that has allowed me to:\n– Untangle the confusing events and themes of my childhood\n– Find lightness and freedom in places where I was deeply stuck\n– Develop a kind of emotional & cognitive agility I never knew was possible\n– Help others become free in ways that were surprising to us both\n– And much more\nThat skill is the art of meaning making.\nWhat is that exactly?\nIt’s the ability to see multiple “truths” inside the same situation. It’s the ability to create meaning around a particular event or memory in a way that moves you forward in your life rather than keeping you stuck.\nTo me this is one of the golden keys of personal transformation.\nMeanings come in all forms. You can have meanings around things like:\n– The story of why you are the way you are\n– Why you’ve been stuck for so long\n– Emotionally charged memories that serve as reference points for how you make decisions and live your life\nThe meaning you invest your attention into can keep you in a kind of mental prison (unable to break free\, get unstuck\, move on\, etc.).\nOr…\nMeaning can gently and elegantly open a pathway forward for you. One that has been there all along\, but was invisible to you because the meaning you were previously stuck inside of actually prevented you from seeing it.\nWhat I love about meaning making is that it’s a skill you can learn. The better you get at it\, the more you can look forward to these important benefits opening up for you:\nFirst\, you become more agile in your ability to navigate life skillfully and gracefully. You feel more capable and able to take on anything that matters to you.\nSecond\, you become antifragile. When something comes along that would diminish most people\, the skillful use of meaning making can make you stronger\, more resilient\, and transform the adversity you’re facing into a source of strength and love (for you and others).\nAnd you can do this without the circumstances or the people involved needing to change.\nHow would you like to learn\, explore\, and experiment with this almost magical ability… using your own life’s stories as your playground?\nIf this sounds intriguing to you\, then I invite you to come explore with us inside our experimental container. This is a container where we leave behind “I’m right” and “I know the truth”.\nInstead we explore questions that open up possibility and create space inside your mind and especially in your heart.\nIf you resonate with what you see here\, then you are welcome to join us. We’ll explore the art of deliberate meaning making together\, and then share what we discovered with each other so we can all grow in surprising\, new ways.\nTo register\, simply RSVP here\, and then click the FIND TICKETS button to complete your registration on Eventbrite for free. The event is limited to 25 people due to space constraints at the spiritual center.\nWith love\,\nJason\nP.S. – This workshop is free to attend. All I ask is that you show up ready to engage with us and participate fully.

SUMMARY:Flavors Of India - Potluck Dinner Party
DESCRIPTION:We are a group of Indian cuisine enthusiasts\, passionate about the rich and diverse flavors of India. We’re excited to announce the “Taste of India” potluck – an evening dedicated to sharing and celebrating our favorite Indian dishes with each other. \nThis event is a perfect opportunity for everyone\, whether you’re a seasoned chef or a curious foodie\, to explore the wonders of Indian cuisine. \nWe encourage you to dive into the world of Indian cooking. You can easily just find a recipe online\, and bring your favorite Indian dish to share with the community. \nThe variety of spices\, herbs\, and flavors in Indian cuisine is vast\, and we can’t wait to see (and taste!) what everyone brings to the table. \nIf you’re not sure where to start\, we think the best person to start learning from is Nisha’s “Rainbow Plant Life” channel on YouTube: \nhttps://www.youtube.com/@RainbowPlantLife \nYou can also just Google “Indian potluck recipes” and find a ton of stuff online. \n? VEGETARIAN & VEGAN FRIENDLY \nWhile we have a preference for vegetarian or vegan dishes\, in the spirit of inclusivity and diverse tastes\, non-vegetarian dishes are also welcome. This way\, there’s something for everyone! \nRSVP & DISH SELECTION – LET’S BALANCE THE FEAST! \nTo ensure we have a well-balanced spread of delicious Indian dishes\, we kindly ask you to RSVP using our SignUpGenius link. This will not only confirm your attendance but also allow you to specify the dish you plan to bring. \nBy sharing what everyone is preparing\, we can enjoy a diverse range of Indian cuisine\, from appetizers to desserts\, and everything in between! \n? HERE’S HOW TO RSVP AND LET US KNOW WHAT YOU’RE BRINGING: \nVisit the SignUpGenius link: \n1: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0945A9AC28A4FECE9-46267761-flavors \n2: Choose what kind of dish you want to bring (entrees\, appetizers\, desserts\, or beverages). \n3: Indicate the Indian dish you’ll be bringing. Feel free to get creative! \n(Please also be sure to put in your RSVP here on Facebook so we can easily track who is coming.) \nYour participation in this process is greatly appreciated as it helps us coordinate a more enjoyable and diverse culinary experience for everyone. We also need your RSVP so we can get an accurate head count so we know how many we’re feeding. \nWe can’t wait to see the array of flavors and dishes that everyone brings. Let’s make this a memorable evening filled with fabulous food and fantastic company! \nWarmly\,\nJason and Amanda (your hosts) \nP.S. – Please invite some friends to join us by sharing this event with them.

SUMMARY:Deep Connection Mixer - An Evening Of Unforgettable Connections
DESCRIPTION:Have you ever attended a meetup or some other social gathering and gotten stuck in “small talk” that went nowhere? \nAre you tired of polite\, boring conversations that don’t light a spark and make you really feel something inside? \nIf you answered “yes” to either of these questions\, then you’re going to love this. \nThis is a unique kind of social event where the focus is on playing games that create interesting conversations and profound connections with some warm and amazing people. \nBy participating in these eye-opening (and heart-opening) exercises\, you’ll not only have a lot of fun\, but you’ll learn a so much about yourself and the people around you. \nAnd on a practical level\, you’ll also learn tools that you can use in your everyday life to create deeper connections with others. \nWHY COME TO A DEEP CONNECTION MIXER? \nYou’ll discover how you are truly experienced by others in fun\, eye-opening\, and compassionate ways. \nYou’ll learn to navigate those moments when you’re not sure what you’re going to say next\, and surprise yourself at how interesting and creative you really are when you stop trying to manage how others see you. \nYou’ll learn how to share yourself more authentically in conversation\, and that will serve you in other areas of your life as well. \nRather than having a night of boring small talk\, you’ll actually get real with the people you meet… giving you the kind of deep\, connected experience we often hope for at gatherings\, but rarely experience. \nAnd you’ll have a lot of fun! \nDoes that sound like music to your ears? This is going to be very different from what you typically experience at a meetup event. I’m excited to create this together with you! \nFREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS \nWhere is it? – The event is held at the Common Street Spiritual Center in Natick\, MA which is a beautiful facility for an event like this. \nWhat time? – We start promptly at 7:00pm and go until 9:00pm (with a break in the middle). SUMMARY:Heart To Heart - Cacao Ceremony & Deep Connection Games (In Person)
DESCRIPTION:You are invited to join us at a truly unique and connected event: Heart To Heart. During this special evening we’ll be blending two of my favorite things: \nA magical Cacao ceremony to help us all drop into our hearts\, followed by some really fun\, deeply engaging connection games. \nWHAT IS A CACAO CEREMONY? \nA Cacao Ceremony is a ritualistic gathering where participants drink ceremonial-grade Cacao to foster a sense of unity\, openness\, and introspection. \nThe ceremonial-grade Cacao serves as a natural heart opener\, encouraging a deep emotional connection to oneself and to others in the group. \nThe value of this ceremony lies in its power to dissolve barriers\, enhance mindfulness\, and nurture a warm sense of community\, helping individuals to experience deeper levels of connection and understanding. \nWHAT MAKES THIS CACAO SPECIAL? \nI pride myself on serving some of the best-tasting ceremonial Cacao you’ll ever have. Cacao is not the same thing as hot chocolate. It’s a bitter stimulant\, and it’s generally fairly watery and bitter. \nMine is different. \nI prepare mine with full fat oat milk for a smooth\, creamy base and source our Cacao from Prophecy Chocolate\, known for its premium quality. \nThen I add a unique blend of spices (including a hint of cayenne pepper)\, vanilla\, and maple syrup to sweeten it. \nIt’s a heartwarming drink that not only tastes great but also helps set the stage for deeper\, more meaningful interactions. \nNext we move into playing some deep connection games \nWHAT ARE DEEP CONNECTION GAMES? \nRather than having a bunch of polite small talk\, we will focus on playing games that create heartfelt connections with each other. \nBy participating in these heart opening games\, you’ll not only have a lot of fun\, but you’ll learn a so much about yourself and the people around you. You’ll get to share things you would normally never get to share at a typical social gathering. \nDoes that sound like music to your ears? I am excited to co-create this intentional social / ceremonial gathering together with you. \nEVENT DETAILS & LOGISTICS \nWhere is it? – The event is held at the Common Street Spiritual Center in Natick\, MA which is a beautiful facility for an event like this. \nWhat time? – We start promptly at 6:30 PM and go until 9:00 PM (with a break in the middle). Please plan on arriving by 6:15pm so you have time to park\, and then settle in and meet the others. \nHOW TO REGISTER: Pricing and registration details are on the Eventbrite page here: \nhttps://www.eventbrite.com/e/674546906957 \nI’m looking forward to seeing you there. \nWarmly\,\nJason \nP.S. – Please check the FAQ section at the bottom of the Eventbrite link to make sure Cacao is safe for you. It generally is for most people\, but it’s good to have a look to be sure.

SUMMARY:The Art Of Meaning Making - Finding Hidden Value In The Story Of Your Life
DESCRIPTION:After 31 years of exploring the world of personal growth\, I can confidently say that there is one skill I’ve acquired that has served me more than anything else. \nIt’s the skill that has allowed me to: \n– Untangle the confusing events and themes of my childhood \n– Find lightness and freedom in places where I was deeply stuck \n– Develop a kind of emotional & cognitive agility I never knew was possible \n– Help others become free in ways that were surprising to us both \nThat skill is the art of meaning making. \nWhat is that exactly? It’s the ability to see multiple “truths” inside the same situation. It’s the ability to create meaning around a particular event or memory in a way that moves you forward in your life rather than keeping you stuck. \nTO ME\, THIS IS ONE OF THE GOLDEN KEYS OF PERSONAL GROWTH \nMeanings come in all forms. You can have meanings around things like: \n– The story of why you are the way you are \n– Why you’ve been stuck for so long \n– Emotionally charged memories that serve as reference points for how you make decisions and live your life \n– The meaning you invest your attention into can keep you in a kind of mental prison (unable to break free\, get unstuck\, move on\, etc.). \nOr… \nMeaning can gently and elegantly open a pathway forward for you. One that has been there all along\, but was invisible to you because the meaning you were previously stuck inside of actually prevented you from seeing it. \nWhat I love about meaning making is that it’s a skill you can learn. The better you get at it\, the more you can look forward to these important benefits opening up for you: \nFirst\, you become more agile in your ability to navigate life skillfully and gracefully. You feel more capable and able to take on anything that matters to you. \nSecond\, you become antifragile. When something comes along that would diminish most people\, the skillful use of meaning making can make you stronger\, more resilient\, and transform the adversity you’re facing into a source of strength and love (for you and others). \nAND YOU CAN DO THIS WITHOUT THE CIRCUMSTANCES (OR THE PEOPLE INVOLVED) NEEDING TO CHANGE \nHow would you like to learn\, explore\, and experiment with this almost magical ability… using your own life’s stories as your playground? \nIf this sounds intriguing to you\, then I invite you to come explore with us inside our experimental container. This is a container where we leave behind “I’m right” and “I know the truth”. \nInstead we explore questions that open up possibility and create space inside your mind and especially in your heart. \nIf you resonate with what you see here\, then you are welcome to join us. We’ll explore the art of deliberate meaning making together\, and then share what we discovered with each other so we can all grow in surprising\, new ways. \nHOW TO JOIN US \nWhere is it? The event is held at the Common Street Spiritual Center in Natick\, MA which is a beautiful facility for an event like this. \nWhat time? We start promptly at 2:00pm and go until 4:00pm (with a break in the middle). Please plan on arriving by 1:45pm so you have time to settle in and meet the other members. I’m one of the few teachers who starts on time\, so please be sure to arrive early. \nHow much? There’s no cost to attend this event. I want to bring everyone together so we can explore meaning as a community. Just bring a willingness to share and participate with us. \nI’m looking forward to seeing you there. \nWarmly\,\nJason

SUMMARY:Heart Healing Ceremony - Discover the Power Of Shared Vulnerability
DESCRIPTION:We live in a world that expects us to always feel “okay”\, even when we don’t. We don’t really have a place to go and process the more challenging feelings that close our hearts down.\nThis Heart Healing Ceremony is meant to be a place where you can purposefully explore what’s going on inside that is calling for your attention. These feelings are often best processed in the welcoming and empathetic arms of community.\nThat’s what we’re creating here \nThis event is for individuals experiencing a wide array of challenging emotions. Whether you’re grappling with…\n– Discouragement\n– Heartache\n– Loss of a loved one\n– Disappointment\n– A loss of any kind (career\, identity\, phase of life\, etc.)\n– Or just feeling blocked in your ability to open your heart to life\n…this inclusive and compassionate gathering is here to welcome you.\nOur Heart Healing Ceremony will be a three-hour experience where we’ll compassionately (and creatively) explore our more difficult feelings.\nAnd we’ll do it in ways that help you fully integrate them so they don’t remain “frozen” in place (which then just turns them into triggers that keep firing off again and again).\nDoes this resonate with you? If yes\, we’d love to have you. Please come share in this experience with us. We’d love to see you there.\nJason & Cass\nP.S. – It’s important that we know how many people to expect\, so please RSVP to let us know that you’re coming\, okay? There’s no charge for this event. It’s our gift to you.\nhttps://www.eventbrite.com/e/heart-healing-ceremony-discover-the-power-of-shared-vulnerability-tickets-611951101217?fbclid=IwAR3IJghoGHabrW8tiIs5fnz8Tdmenm7vzqdA7bQ8Xj0jNrKxjRSNs960jlQ
