SUMMARY:Intro to Shamanic Journeying
DESCRIPTION:“Shamanic journeying is the inner art of traveling to the invisible worlds beyond ordinary reality in order to retrieve information for change in any area of our lives\, from spirituality and health to work and relationships” (Sandra Ingerman\, 2007). \nPower animals are an elemental component of shamanism and all shamans work with power animals to help bring about spiritual\, physical and emotional healing at the soul or spirit level. One or more power animals may help us throughout our lives. All of us have access to our power animals and our power animals want to work with us! \nIn this workshop\, you will be guided to independently travel to the shamanic lower world through a meditative journeying state and meet your power animal. We will also discover the various ways to work with power animals in daily life and to assist in understanding specific intentions or gifts they have to offer. \nIt is recommended you bring any items that will help you descend into this state of consciousness. Such materials can include an eye covering\, pillow\, blanket\, mat\, and wearing comfortable clothing. \nA limited amount of cushions\, yoga mats\, and blankets will be available for use. \nIn your shamanic journey space\, you may gain information from the lower world spirits and your power animal. Bringing a journal can be valuable to record the messages received for further integration and referencing. \nNo prior shamanic or journeying experience necessary. All levels of shamanic practice are welcome! \nPlan to arrive upstairs at the Moon Room approximately 15 minutes early for check in and set up. \nEmail Sherry and Colleen at owls.rising@gmail.com with questions. \nSpace limited to 20 participants\, preregistration required by following this link: \nhttps://forms.gle/yPsq9Zd8u5EmDXzc8 \nExchange $30
