SUMMARY:Kundalini Partner Yoga
DESCRIPTION:Kundalini energy is the ultimate life-force energy that rests\, often dormant\, coiled at the base of the spine. It lies in the basis of the Creation of the Universe and holds a key to (wo)man’s Divine potential. The goal of Kundalini Yoga is to prepare your consciousness\, physical and energy body with special asanas\, techniques and practices for a unique experience – the awakening of the Kundalini energy\, a powerful tool for the development and transformation. \nLev Teternikov School embodies the approach of Kundalini Yoga with a partner where you can explore yourself\, your inner and outer worlds through the interaction with other people. Kundalini Yoga with a partner provides you with a powerful tool to support physical and psychological strength and health and can become a spiritual practice offering an expansion and liberation with a completely new understanding of your body and your character. \nYou can join the class at any stage\, regardless of your yoga experience\, level of flexibility and your beliefs on what yoga and/or spiritual practice is. Partner is not necessarily a romantic companion and the opposite gender\, but a person with pure intention to expand him/herself and help you with the journey – your lover\, kid\, relative or friend. If you don’t have one\, we will find a partner for you on the spot.\nPlease wear comfortable clothes and bring a yoga mat and water. \nBio:\nDiana Borenshtein\, Ph.D\, has been practicing yoga from 2005. She experienced first Kundalini awakening (spontaneous yoga dance) in 2009 and since then was interested in exploring this phenomenon and finding ways to share it with other people. During her journey\, she came across teachings of Lev Teternikov – founder of the first Yoga Association in the former USSR and one of the leading Masters of Kundalini Yoga and Tantric practices in Russia. As an adept of Lev Teternikov system\, Diana hosted and organized US workshops by Olga Golikova (partner of Lev Teternikov and current Head of his school) and eventually became a certified instructor and representative of Lev Teternikov School in Boston\, MA. In addition\, Diana possessed healing capabilities from a childhood and developed her method of teaching the healing process through various workshops all over the world. This system was summarized in her book “Beyond Matrix\, Practicing Quantum Transformations” (2014\, Russian edition). Diana also leads women’s circles and workshops.

SUMMARY:Rubaba Ecstatic Kirtan - Chanting & Healing
DESCRIPTION:The practice of Kirtan has been found to provide a number of mental health benefits\, including improved mood\, decreased anxiety\, stress\, and cortisol levels\, as well as decrease insomnia. Hemant combines Bhakti and Gyana yoga paths. During this session he will take us through chants based on seven different ragas\, each aligned with a chakra\, the energy centers. Each mantra is examined for pronunciation and meaning prior to engaging in chanting (Ohm\, Ram\, Hare Krishna and more). Finally all participants will be invited to express themselves through dance and end the shared experience with the Loka samasta sukhino bhavantu!\n\nRubaba is a multi-instrumentalist\, classically trained Musician and a vocalist and has played around the globe in a number of festivals. His unique style is very simple yet uplifting to follow. His mantras are in English\, vidhi\, Sanskrit and Urdu. He has been fusing his love for music and his devotion to finding the deeper spiritual meaning in life for more than 30 years\n\nSuggested donations:\n$30 (members $20)
