SUMMARY:The Art Of Meaning Making - Finding Hidden Value In The Story Of Your Life
DESCRIPTION:After 31 years of exploring the world of personal growth\, I can confidently say that there is one skill I’ve acquired that has served me more than anything else. \nIt’s the skill that has allowed me to: \n– Untangle the confusing events and themes of my childhood \n– Find lightness and freedom in places where I was deeply stuck \n– Develop a kind of emotional & cognitive agility I never knew was possible \n– Help others become free in ways that were surprising to us both \nThat skill is the art of meaning making. \nWhat is that exactly? It’s the ability to see multiple “truths” inside the same situation. It’s the ability to create meaning around a particular event or memory in a way that moves you forward in your life rather than keeping you stuck. \nTO ME\, THIS IS ONE OF THE GOLDEN KEYS OF PERSONAL GROWTH \nMeanings come in all forms. You can have meanings around things like: \n– The story of why you are the way you are \n– Why you’ve been stuck for so long \n– Emotionally charged memories that serve as reference points for how you make decisions and live your life \n– The meaning you invest your attention into can keep you in a kind of mental prison (unable to break free\, get unstuck\, move on\, etc.). \nOr… \nMeaning can gently and elegantly open a pathway forward for you. One that has been there all along\, but was invisible to you because the meaning you were previously stuck inside of actually prevented you from seeing it. \nWhat I love about meaning making is that it’s a skill you can learn. The better you get at it\, the more you can look forward to these important benefits opening up for you: \nFirst\, you become more agile in your ability to navigate life skillfully and gracefully. You feel more capable and able to take on anything that matters to you. \nSecond\, you become antifragile. When something comes along that would diminish most people\, the skillful use of meaning making can make you stronger\, more resilient\, and transform the adversity you’re facing into a source of strength and love (for you and others). \nAND YOU CAN DO THIS WITHOUT THE CIRCUMSTANCES (OR THE PEOPLE INVOLVED) NEEDING TO CHANGE \nHow would you like to learn\, explore\, and experiment with this almost magical ability… using your own life’s stories as your playground? \nIf this sounds intriguing to you\, then I invite you to come explore with us inside our experimental container. This is a container where we leave behind “I’m right” and “I know the truth”. \nInstead we explore questions that open up possibility and create space inside your mind and especially in your heart. \nIf you resonate with what you see here\, then you are welcome to join us. We’ll explore the art of deliberate meaning making together\, and then share what we discovered with each other so we can all grow in surprising\, new ways. \nHOW TO JOIN US \nWhere is it? The event is held at the Common Street Spiritual Center in Natick\, MA which is a beautiful facility for an event like this. \nWhat time? We start promptly at 2:00pm and go until 4:00pm (with a break in the middle). Please plan on arriving by 1:45pm so you have time to settle in and meet the other members. I’m one of the few teachers who starts on time\, so please be sure to arrive early. \nHow much? There’s no cost to attend this event. I want to bring everyone together so we can explore meaning as a community. Just bring a willingness to share and participate with us. \nI’m looking forward to seeing you there. \nWarmly\,\nJason

SUMMARY:Heart To Heart - Cacao Ceremony & Deep Connection Games (In Person)
DESCRIPTION:You are invited to join us at a truly unique and connected event: Heart To Heart. During this special evening we’ll be blending two of my favorite things: \nA magical Cacao ceremony to help us all drop into our hearts\, followed by some really fun\, deeply engaging connection games. \nWHAT IS A CACAO CEREMONY? \nA Cacao Ceremony is a ritualistic gathering where participants drink ceremonial-grade Cacao to foster a sense of unity\, openness\, and introspection. \nThe ceremonial-grade Cacao serves as a natural heart opener\, encouraging a deep emotional connection to oneself and to others in the group. \nThe value of this ceremony lies in its power to dissolve barriers\, enhance mindfulness\, and nurture a warm sense of community\, helping individuals to experience deeper levels of connection and understanding. \nWHAT MAKES THIS CACAO SPECIAL? \nI pride myself on serving some of the best-tasting ceremonial Cacao you’ll ever have. Cacao is not the same thing as hot chocolate. It’s a bitter stimulant\, and it’s generally fairly watery and bitter. \nMine is different. \nI prepare mine with full fat oat milk for a smooth\, creamy base and source our Cacao from Prophecy Chocolate\, known for its premium quality. \nThen I add a unique blend of spices (including a hint of cayenne pepper)\, vanilla\, and maple syrup to sweeten it. \nIt’s a heartwarming drink that not only tastes great but also helps set the stage for deeper\, more meaningful interactions. \nNext we move into playing some deep connection games \nWHAT ARE DEEP CONNECTION GAMES? \nRather than having a bunch of polite small talk\, we will focus on playing games that create heartfelt connections with each other. \nBy participating in these heart opening games\, you’ll not only have a lot of fun\, but you’ll learn a so much about yourself and the people around you. You’ll get to share things you would normally never get to share at a typical social gathering. \nDoes that sound like music to your ears? I am excited to co-create this intentional social / ceremonial gathering together with you. \nEVENT DETAILS & LOGISTICS \nWhere is it? – The event is held at the Common Street Spiritual Center in Natick\, MA which is a beautiful facility for an event like this. \nWhat time? – We start promptly at 6:30 PM and go until 9:00 PM (with a break in the middle). Please plan on arriving by 6:15pm so you have time to park\, and then settle in and meet the others. \nHOW TO REGISTER: Pricing and registration details are on the Eventbrite page here: \nhttps://www.eventbrite.com/e/674546906957 \nI’m looking forward to seeing you there. \nWarmly\,\nJason \nP.S. – Please check the FAQ section at the bottom of the Eventbrite link to make sure Cacao is safe for you. It generally is for most people\, but it’s good to have a look to be sure.

SUMMARY:Deep Connection Mixer - An Evening Of Unforgettable Connections
DESCRIPTION:Have you ever attended a meetup or some other social gathering and gotten stuck in “small talk” that went nowhere? \nAre you tired of polite\, boring conversations that don’t light a spark and make you really feel something inside? \nIf you answered “yes” to either of these questions\, then you’re going to love this. \nThis is a unique kind of social event where the focus is on playing games that create interesting conversations and profound connections with some warm and amazing people. \nBy participating in these eye-opening (and heart-opening) exercises\, you’ll not only have a lot of fun\, but you’ll learn a so much about yourself and the people around you. \nAnd on a practical level\, you’ll also learn tools that you can use in your everyday life to create deeper connections with others. \nWHY COME TO A DEEP CONNECTION MIXER? \nYou’ll discover how you are truly experienced by others in fun\, eye-opening\, and compassionate ways. \nYou’ll learn to navigate those moments when you’re not sure what you’re going to say next\, and surprise yourself at how interesting and creative you really are when you stop trying to manage how others see you. \nYou’ll learn how to share yourself more authentically in conversation\, and that will serve you in other areas of your life as well. \nRather than having a night of boring small talk\, you’ll actually get real with the people you meet… giving you the kind of deep\, connected experience we often hope for at gatherings\, but rarely experience. \nAnd you’ll have a lot of fun! \nDoes that sound like music to your ears? This is going to be very different from what you typically experience at a meetup event. I’m excited to create this together with you! \nFREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS \nWhere is it? – The event is held at the Common Street Spiritual Center in Natick\, MA which is a beautiful facility for an event like this. \nWhat time? – We start promptly at 7:00pm and go until 9:00pm (with a break in the middle). Please plan on arriving by 6:45pm so you have time to settle in and meet the other participants. \nHow much? – I wanted to keep this affordable for everyone\, so it’s only $20 to attend. That is very inexpensive for a facilitated gathering where you are guaranteed to meet great people and actually have meaningful connections with them. \nI’m looking forward to seeing you there. \nWarmly\, \nJason

SUMMARY:Introduction to Shamanic Journeying: Connect with Your Power Animal
DESCRIPTION:Introduction to Shamanic Journeying:\nConnect with Your Power Animal \n“Shamanic journeying is the inner art of traveling to the invisible worlds beyond ordinary reality in order to retrieve information for change in any area of our lives\, from spirituality and health to work and relationships” (Sandra Ingerman\, 2007). \nPower animals are an elemental component of shamanism and all shamans work with power animals to help bring about spiritual\, physical and emotional healing at the soul or spirit level. One or more power animals may help us throughout our lives. All of us have access to our power animals and our power animals want to work with us! \nIn this workshop\, you will be guided to independently travel to the shamanic lower world through a meditative journeying state and meet your power animal. We will also discover the various ways to work with power animals in daily life and to assist in understanding specific intentions or gifts they have to offer. \nIt is recommended you bring any items that will help you descend into this state of consciousness. Such materials can include an eye covering\, pillow\, blanket\, mat\, and wearing comfortable clothing. Cushions\, yoga mats\, and blankets will be available. \nIn your shamanic journey space\, you may gain information from the lower world spirits and your power animal. Bringing a journal can be valuable to record the messages received for further integration and referencing. \nNo prior shamanic or journeying experience necessary. All levels of shamanic practice are welcome! Email Sherry @ sherrysolchnp@gmail.com with questions. \nSpace limited to 12 participants\, preregistration required by following this link: https://forms.gle/bjvX7HqCAhXo2TK38 \nExchange $30

SUMMARY:How We Healed / How We Heal
DESCRIPTION:How We Healed / How We Heal\, A Gathering Facilitated by Paul W. Gerzon \nLife can be wonderful. Our human capacity for love\, enjoyment\, and wisdom is endless; and the love a person can feel for other human beings\, for nature\, and for life itself\, is beautiful. Experiencing all this is less likely to happen\, however\, if we have not healed emotional wounds; if we have not learned that “the mind is a great servant but a terrible master”; and if we don’t know how to love ourselves\, including our bodies. \nToday’s gathering is about being more whole. \nIn part one\, we will talk about what healing is: what do we mean by that word? Then those who are moved to will have the time and space to share about what healing they have experienced\, and by what methods\, circumstances\, and / or experiences. \nIn part two\, we will generate a list of what seems to be necessary for healing. We will do that as a collective mind by noticing our own experiences\, from our in-the-moment thinking\, and from what we’ve learned from videos\, from books\, from peers\, and / or from professionals who have been helpful. \nPlease come if you wish to explore this subject! \nSuch gatherings can accelerate our individual learning and growing\, as well as provide “people medicine” for everyone present. \n  \nPersonal note: \nI am grateful for the healing I have experienced. In my case\, growing up\, my head energy was loved and supported. My thoughts were welcome. In contrast\, my heart energy was not supported\, and emotions of any were not welcomed and certainly were not mirrored. No one in my family or at school taught me any emotional awareness. \nMy life is enormously different now that much childhood wounding is healed. An important shift for me was when I could see my parents as glasses half full\, instead of half empty. Through certain healing contexts and experiences\, I came to see them as being perfect (if you’ll excuse that overworked word) exactly as they were! \nI stopped judging them. That led to stopping judging myself\, and that led to not judging anybody. I live a lighter and happier life now. \n(By the way\, not judging anybody does not mean “making no distinctions” or “not seeing differences”!) \n

SUMMARY:Mai-Tri Session
DESCRIPTION:Mohanji Foundation is organising a session of MaiTri Method\, a deep energy cleansing\, healing and harmonising process on Dec 26th at Common Street Spiritual Center.\n\n \nMai-Tri Method is a profound method of deep cleansing and harmonizing in which deep-seated subconscious blockages are removed\, even from the subtlest layer of our existence – the causal body – where seeds of karmic impressions are stored.\n \nWhile the cleansing reaches deep into the energy records\, it is important to note that Mai-Tri Method does not interfere with the destiny aspect of karma (as this is what has been chosen at the soul level\, be it pleasant or unpleasant to our mind).\n\nThe actual word meaning of “Mai-tri” is friendship\, companionship\, collaboration\, or simply togetherness. “Mai” means mother. The word mother represents unconditional love\, protection\, care\, consistency of emotions\, continuity\, life\, creation etc. Mother also represents levitation\, as in the womb experience. Womb represents the creation as well as healing.\n\nThe program is scheduled between 4-7pm. You could register and select one time slot\, which suits you. The duration of the session is 30mins. There is a suggested donation of $30\, of which 50% would be used to feed the needy.\n\nTo register\, please click the link below:\nhttps://tinyurl.com/Mai-Tri-Registration\n\nFor any questions please write to mohanjifamilyma@gmail.com
