DESCRIPTION:On the first Sundays of the month\, we combine our Open Circle Gathering with a community potluck brunch.\n\nWe gather and connect in a more relaxed\, less structured way\, yet with threads of meaning and spirituality tying it all together.\n\n\nYou’re welcome\, if it would bring you joy\, to contribute a food or drink item to share as part of the community brunch. Another option is to bring non-perishable food or toiletry items for our free mini-pantry.\n\nOur community is finding a creative place in the spiritual world\, where new forms of spiritual practice\, artistic expression\, and self-awareness are emerging to support humanity to meet the challenges of our times. We are finding balance within ourselves\, making peace across differences\, and stepping up to protect the Earth.\n\nWe welcome folks of all beliefs and backgrounds to build community with us as we align around a hopeful sense of common purpose.

DESCRIPTION:All are welcome. No experience necessary. From the tradition of the great love poet Rumi\, these classes provide instruction in the whirling practice which polishes the heart\, clears the mind\, and trains the body to participate in wordless prayer. \nThe format of the classes will usually include warm-up exercises\, then turning instruction\, Zikr\, and/or other aspects of Mevlevi Sufi tradition such as teachings from Rumi. \nFirst class by donation. SUMMARY:Chanting and Meditation Group
DESCRIPTION:This chanting and meditation group is designed to tap into our inner freedom. We will have two 15 minute sessions of chanting and two 30 minute sessions of meditation. Through the actions of chanting and meditation\, the aim is to free all the thoughts and emotions stuck within our minds and bodies. And over time\, the goal is to free ourselves from our unconscious programming we have built over our lifetimes and deepen our connection with Spirit.\n\n\nThe event is free and open to the community.
