DESCRIPTION:In our current polarized political environment\, many people avoid or dread political conversations with friends or family members whose politics differ from their own. They worry\, rightly so\, that any attempts at political discussions will devolve into arguments and acrimony\, and result in hurt feelings or anger. \nBraver Angels Skills for Bridging the Divide Workshops teach skills for having respectful conversations that clarify differences\, search for common ground\, and affirm the importance of the relationship. They also give participants a safe environment to practice those skills. \nThis workshop is approximately 2 ½ hours long.

DESCRIPTION:Please join us in our mission to fund-raise for a community facing hunger\, displacement\, and war. \nThere will be live music\, local artists selling works to benefit the fundraiser\, and fresh baked goods available to purchase. $10 suggested donation at the door. \nThe money made from this event will go towards supporting the innocent civilians of Gaza. \nThere is no room in this event for hate\, so if you have nothing positive to add we kindly ask you not to attend. \nIf you are interested in being one of the vendors for this event\, please reach out and we will find you a spot!  Please remember that if you are a vendor at this event that the money made is to support the fundraiser. DESCRIPTION:We need each other. In this time of war and humanitarian crisis in Israel and Gaza\, we are opening an inclusive and sensitive space for dialogue and listening.\n\nIn a process facilitated by Sadik Kassim\, Rabbi Robin Sparr\, and Rev. Dr. Ian Mevorach\, we will share our thoughts and feelings\, and listen to each other. The space will be free of hate speech\, courteous\, and respectful of all.\n\nOur goal is to learn from each other\, see how we can support each other in these times\, and find ways to work together to create a more peaceful world.\n\nFREE and open to the public.
