SUMMARY:Yoga in the Sanctuary
DESCRIPTION:Join Dr. Jennifer Kurz every Monday night from 7-8 pm for Yoga in the Sanctuary.   This medium paced vinyasa flow will strengthen and energize as well as promote flexibility and balance.  We will also experience inner peace by the closing meditation called Shivasana.  Please bring a mat and water bottle\, and this community class meets in the beautiful sanctuary of the Common Street Spiritual Center in Natick\, MA.  The cost per class is $15 or a food pantry donation (the pantry is located outside the center).  See you on Monday night for Yoga in the Sanctuary! \nYoga is a practice that unites the mind and body.  In fact\, yoga means “to yoke” or unite.   It is an ancient healing practice that is both physical and spiritual\, incorporating postures\, breath\, and meditation.  Yoga heals!  From numerous forms of trauma\, anxiety\, and physical stiffness\, yoga provides relief and builds a strong physical and spiritual core. \nWhat:  Yoga Class: medium paced vinyasa flow \nWhere: Common Street Spiritual Center\, 13 Common Street\, Natick\, MA \nWhen: 7-8 pm on Monday nights (no class on federal holidays) \nCost:  $15 or food pantry donation (located at center) \nVenmo: Jennifer-Kurz-2 \nEmail:  Doctorjenkurz@gmail.com \nInstagram: @yogadoc_

SUMMARY:Chanting and Meditation Group
DESCRIPTION:This chanting and meditation group is designed to tap into our inner freedom. We will have two 15 minute sessions of chanting and two 30 minute sessions of meditation. Through the actions of chanting and meditation\, the aim is to free all the thoughts and emotions stuck within our minds and bodies. And over time\, the goal is to free ourselves from our unconscious programming we have built over our lifetimes and deepen our connection with Spirit.\n\n\nThe event is free and open to the community. DESCRIPTION:Intro to Qi Gong \nHow to cultivate balance in body and mind and improve your life energy (Qi) \nTime: Sundays from 8am – 9am\n \nQi Gong is a centuries-old system of coordinated body-posture and movement\, breathing\, and meditation used for the purposes of health\, spirituality\, and martial-arts training. These practices help cultivate concentration\, peace of mind\, strengthen and tone your body all at once. \nAll are welcome. No prior experience required. \nSuggested donation: $5-10 \nMeets in the Fellowship Hall downstairs.  Enter through the school street door and come downstairs to find us. \nAbout the Instructor: \nWei Li grew up in Mainland\, China. She earned her Ph.D. in Biology at Tufts University in 2005. Since 2010\, she has been studying Qi Gong and Tai Chi with Master Ming Wu and Master Shi Zhao. She finished her Fengyang Qi Gong Associate Instructor training in 2020 and has been teaching Qi Gong since at Wu Healing Center and Morse Institute Library.
