SUMMARY:Sensing Tango — A Beginner's Course
DESCRIPTION:Argentine tango is one of the most intimate social dances in the world — and one of the most misunderstood. Most people learn it as a set of steps. This course teaches it as a conversation. \nOver six classes\, we’ll build the foundational skills of tango from the inside out: how to stand\, embrace\, and move with a partner — not through drilling technique\, but through guided exercises in body awareness\, breath\, and attentive listening. You’ll learn to feel what your partner is communicating\, and to express yourself clearly and kindly in return. \nYou’ll leave with enough grounding to enjoy a social tango event — and a set of inner tools that will deepen every dance you take on from here. \nNo experience necessary. No partner required. \nTime: Thursdays\, Apr 2 – May 7\, 7.15pm (6 classes) \nLocation: Common Street Spiritual Center\, Moon Room.  13 Common St Natick\, MA  01760 \n$20 per class · $100 for the series · NOTAFLOF · Drop-ins welcome\, and like tango itself\, the material rewards revisiting. \nTo pre-register: https://forms.gle/tCTr9DUdPLHgDc666 \n  \nAbout the instructor \nAnatoliy Kats began his tango journey in 2017 and hasn’t stopped since. He studies in Buenos Aires at Studio Dinzel\, which pioneered the teaching of tango as a practice of wellness and self-development more than 20 years ago. He holds a degree in clinical mental health counseling from Lesley University\, and his work as a therapist informs how he teaches the dance. He is supervised by Dmitry Antonyuk of St. Petersburg\, Russia — a Studio Dinzel alumnus with 14 years of tango teaching experience.

SUMMARY:Eve of Floralia
DESCRIPTION:Featuring Winds of Alluria\, Three Dragon Alley\, & Be Not Afraid performing at the Common St Spiritual Center. Natick\, MA Sun 4/26 6-9PM. \n\n\n\n\nEve of Floralia marks the threshold before the ancient Roman festival of Floralia\, a rite of renewal dedicated to Flora—goddess of blossoms\, fertility\, wild growth\, and the untamed intelligence of the living world. It is not a polite celebration of spring\, but a liminal moment when boundaries soften: between winter and bloom\, order and excess\, human intention and vegetal will. \nTo honor this eve\, we gather through sound. \nElectronic ritual\, neofolk incantation\, animist resonance\, world instruments\, and dark ambient textures form an offering suited to a night that belongs neither fully to civilization nor to wilderness. These musics speak in pulses\, drones\, breath\, wood\, wire\, and electricity—languages older than doctrine\, newer than tradition\, and aligned with cycles rather than calendars. \nThis is music for roots pushing through stone\, for flowers that bloom at night\, for spirits that do not ask permission. Eve of Floralia is not a reenactment—it is an invocation. A listening rite. A sonic garland laid at the feet of spring as it crosses the threshold into abundance. \n$25 donation. \nThis is a seated event. No alcohol served at this event. Feel free to bring water bottles and snacks. Please arrive 10 minutes before the event.

SUMMARY:Soul Revival
DESCRIPTION:Join us for an evening of music\, prayer\, and community in a free-form\, spirit-led format. \nThis gathering is designed as an open experience shaped by those who are present. Through live music from Ryan Bacher and facilitation from Ian Mevorach\, we will create space for spontaneous prayer\, reflection\, storytelling\, and shared expression. \nRyan’s music is grounded in a personal path of faith centered on surrender\, gratitude\, and grace\, while the space itself remains open to a range of spiritual perspectives and experiences. \nRather than following a set structure\, the evening will unfold organically\, allowing room for participation\, creativity\, and authentic connection. Attendees are welcome to contribute or simply be present. \nThis is an opportunity to engage spirituality in a dynamic\, communal\, and embodied way. \nThe event is free. Donations are welcome to support our Common Purse fund\, which provides direct assistance to community members in need. \nAll are welcome. \nLocation: Common Street Spiritual Center\n13 Common Street\, Natick
