Contact me for any questions: lipi.vora@artofliving.org\n470-655-8668 \nHere are some Frequently asked questions: \nWhat is the Art of Living foundation? \nThe Art of Living is a non-profit educational organization\, founded in 1981 by renowned spiritual teacher and humanitarian Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.\nIt is committed to uplifting and empowering individuals and communities through a blend of ancient wisdom and modern science\, with a particular focus on stress reduction and mental well-being. \nWhat is the Art of Living Part-1 course? \nIn the Art of Living-Part 1 course also known as the Happiness program\, you will learn SKY (Sudarshan Kriya)—a powerful rhythmic breathing technique that harmonizes the body-mind complex. Participants notice reduced stress and anxiety\, better sleep\, a stronger immune system\, and increased energy levels. \nIt is a popular technique with mentions in Breath (James Nestor) as well as the New York times\, Forbes\, amongst others. Yes\, the Art of Living curriculum is a two part curriculum. You can do these workshops independently. Having completed part-1 you will be eligible to do a part-2\, which is a deep dive.\nOne of my favorite retreats\, part-2 or silence workshop builds on your Part 1 experience with a unique blend of advanced breathwork\, guided meditations\, daily yoga\, and profound insights into the mind. This is all designed to provide an optimal environment to break free from a busy mind\, dive deep within\, and experience transformative shifts—fresh perspective\, deep insights\, and clarity. These moments supercharge the rest of your year\, making it more vibrant\, productive\, and full of energy. \nAny other questions? \nPlease do not hesitate to reach out. This practice makes me feel happier every time I practice it 🙂 I could say\, anyone looking for more happiness and joy that is unrelated to external situations and circumstances\, but is rather originating from within. \nIf this is Art of Living Part-1\, is there a Part-2 course? \nGreat question! I will be happy to help however best I can.

SUMMARY:Yoga in the Sanctuary
DESCRIPTION:Yoga is a practice that brings together the mind and body.  In fact\, yoga means “to yoke” or unite.   It is an ancient healing practice that is both physical and spiritual\, incorporating postures\, breath\, and meditation.  Yoga heals!   Yoga provides relief from numerous forms of trauma\, anxiety\, and physical stiffness.  It also builds a strong physical and spiritual core.\n\n\nJoin us every Monday from 7-8 pm for a vinyasa flow that will strengthen and energize as well as promote flexibility and balance.  We will also experience inner peace by the closing meditation called Shivasana.  Please bring a mat and water bottle\, and the class meets in the beautiful sanctuary.  There is no registration required\, and the cost per class is $10 or a food pantry donation (the pantry is located outside the center).  Class will not meet on federal holidays.  Venmo: Jennifer-Kurz-2.
