DESCRIPTION:What if healing could be as simple as lying down and listening? \nOn the last Sunday of every month\, our Open Circle gathers for a Community Sound Bath — an immersive\, centering\, and healing experience where sacred sound does the work and all you have to do is receive it. And when we come up from the depths\, we’ll do what we do best: connect\, share\, and build community together. \nWe have yoga mats and cushions you can use\, but if you have a yoga mat or cushion\, please bring it. You’re also welcome to bring a blanket\, an eye mask\, a water bottle — anything that helps you settle in. And if you have none of those things\, come anyway. All are welcome exactly as you are. \n🕊️ The Open Circle is an inclusive and creative spiritual practice grounded in meditation\, contemplation\, and shared reflection\, where everyone’s voice matters. DESCRIPTION:Common Street Spiritual Center’s Peace & Justice Team invites you to join the weekly Standout for Peace\, a vigil organized by Natick for Palestine that our members have been participating in. It happens every Sunday from 12:45–2:00pm. We gather at Common Street Spiritual Center (13 Common St\, Natick) at 12:45 and walk over together\, or join directly at the corner of Rt 27 & Rt 135 at 1:00. Signs are provided\, or bring your own and express yourself however feels true. It’s a simple\, physical presence — and drivers passing by often honk in support\, a small but real reminder that hope is visible here. \nCommon Street Spiritual Center is committed to peace\, justice\, and compassion. SUMMARY:The Turning Practice of The Whirling Dervishes
DESCRIPTION:All are welcome. No experience necessary. From the tradition of the great love poet Rumi\, these classes provide instruction in the whirling practice which polishes the heart\, clears the mind\, and trains the body to participate in wordless prayer. \nThe format of the classes will usually include warm-up exercises\, then turning instruction\, Zikr\, and/or other aspects of Mevlevi Sufi tradition such as teachings from Rumi. \nFirst class by donation.
