DESCRIPTION:On the first Sundays of the month\, we combine our Open Circle Gathering with a community potluck brunch.\n\nWe gather and connect in a more relaxed\, less structured way\, yet with threads of meaning and spirituality tying it all together.\n\n\nYou’re welcome\, if it would bring you joy\, to contribute a food or drink item to share as part of the community brunch. SUMMARY:Seven Sacred Talking Circles: Indigenous Wisdom from Within
DESCRIPTION:In honor of one of the primary principles of a Talking Circle\, to be able to look into each persons’ eyes\, we are holding space for 20 people at the most. You are welcome to sign up for as many\, or as few\, as you are called to and your schedule allows. It’s okay to over or under register and come back to the form and add or subtract a registration. If a Circle is filled you will be put on a wait list and be notified of that status\, and you will be notified when a space opens. You should also expect an email a week or so ahead of time to confirm your registration. SUMMARY:Shamanic Tools Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Shamanic Tools Workshop \nSunday\, April 7th 5pm to 9pm- arrive 10 minutes before start time for check in Supplies and space limited- pre registration required (link below) \nEach participant will be receiving a “tool bag” with resource information and supplies used for smudging\, protection and percussion. \nEmbark on a transformative journey within\, accessing your profound inner wisdom for personal guidance and healing. Engage with your innate intuition and embrace the shamanic perspective\, viewing the world through the compassionate lens of the heart and the insightful gaze of the third eye. \nA great deal of information will be covered and practiced in this transformative workshop. These topics will include: \n● Various techniques for energetic cleansing and hygiene (one example is smudging) to clear out energies that are not serving us or our space. We will practice using our intuitive senses with each other and within the space with items provided in the “tool bag” that each participant will be receiving. \n● There is a quality of sacred space necessary for this work when establishing an authentic connection with spirit. We will be teaching the components of sacred space with invocation of the medicine wheel and benevolent helping spirits. A printed reference for setting sacred with the medicine wheel directions\, elements and cyclical information will be provided in the “tool bag” as well. \n● Energetic boundaries and protection are indispensable both in daily life and when working in the spirit realms- we will be reviewing and practicing the application of these protective rituals. \nThe above mentioned practices are necessary before moving into the deeper realms of our consciousness\, where we will be traveling in the second half of the workshop: \n● Our breath is an invaluable tool which we will be using to release old energies and blocks that may be hindering connection with spirit. The breathing exercise is very powerful and individuals often note connecting with the divine during the experience. \n● The shamanic journey is an ancient visionary technique used to enter the invisible realm of spirit for healing and guidance. It is the most direct and practical tool for engaging your own inner knowing. Through your journeys you can explore the hidden universe of spirit in the wise and loving care of your spirit allies. Everyone has spirit allies. They are the power animals and helping spirits in the spirit world who protect and help to awaken your dormant spiritual abilities. We will learn the various ways to enter a trance state to traverse the shamanic worlds and enter into our shamanic journey where we will retrieve our individual spirit ally who wants to work with us on our spiritual process and inner healing. \nIt is recommended you bring any items that will help you descend into this state of consciousness. Such materials can include an eye covering\, pillow\, blanket\, mat\, and wearing comfortable clothing. A limited amount of cushions\, yoga mats\, and blankets may be available for use. \nIn your shamanic journey space\, you may gain information from your spirit allies or power animal. Bringing a journal can be valuable to record the messages received for further integration and referencing. \nNo prior shamanic or journeying experience necessary.
