She earned her Ph.D. in Biology at Tufts University in 2005. Since 2010\, she has been studying Qi Gong and Tai Chi with Master Ming Wu and Master Shi Zhao. She finished her Fengyang Qi Gong Associate Instructor training in 2020 and has been teaching Qi Gong since at Wu Healing Center and Morse Institute Library.
