SUMMARY:Freestyle Dance - Featuring Electric Nomads
DESCRIPTION:Do you want to turn off your mind\, turn up your connection to your body for a bit at the end of a week\, and sink into whatever movements feel good to you? Do you like ecstatic dance\, flow arts\, yoga\, and having the space to improvise movements freestyle along with improvised groovy music? Then come to the Common Street Spiritual Center in Natick\, MA on the evening of August 18th! There will be an opening ceremony promptly at 8:00 p.m.\, so please arrive before that to settle in and be present to the arc of the experience. Music and dancing will continue until 10:00 p.m. \nThe music will consist of completely live improvisation that traverses a lot of terrain: from meditative and flowy to groovy\, funky\, and intense. The Electric Nomads blend drumming with bass guitar\, synthesizer\, electronic and acoustic elements\, and world instruments to create a sonic fusion in a variety of styles. The Electric Nomads features Dave Curry\, Bruno Giles\, Jason Karol\, and Dave Santospago. \nThere is a suggested donation of $20 for this event. Cash\, PayPal\, and venmo all accepted at the doors day of event.
